ORGAN ACADEMY 1996

a bi-annual meeting-place
for performers, musicologists and students

August 9-20, 1996

The Göteborg International Organ Academy wishes to promote a interdisciplinary view in which all links of the chain source - music - instrument - context (liturgical, ideological, historical etc) - artist - recipient have the opportunity to interact to create new conditions for the credibility, future survival and vitality of art and research in the future.

The Göteborg International Organ Academy provides an outstanding opportunity to get to know the Göteborg Organ Art Center. The Academy will be held again in August 1996 and will cover both the Baroque and the Romantic repertoires
